GenMedia is operated by Gllownite Technology at media.gllownitetechnology.com.
What we collect
- Your email address and a protected form of your password (we cannot read your password).
- The name and ID of any YouTube channel you connect, and an encrypted access token for it.
- Your upload history: video titles, status, scheduled times and YouTube video IDs.
- Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider, such as IP address and pages requested.
Your Google AI key
Your key stays in your browser. It passes through our server only to send your request to Google, and we do not store it. Google bills any AI usage to your own Google account. Your topics and scripts go to Google to create your content, under the terms of your Google account.
Your videos
Videos are created in your browser and uploaded straight to YouTube. We do not store your video files on our servers.
YouTube and Google user data
When you connect a channel, we ask Google for permission to upload videos and read your channel name. We use this only to show which channel is connected and to upload and schedule the videos you choose. We do not sell this data or share it with anyone else, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
GenMedia's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. GenMedia uses YouTube API Services, and by connecting a channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
Cookies and browser storage
We use one cookie to keep you signed in and a short-lived one to protect the YouTube connection step. Your Google AI key is kept in your browser's storage and removed when you sign out. We do not use advertising cookies.
Removing access and deleting your data
You can disconnect a channel at any time, which also asks Google to end our access. You can also remove access in your Google account permissions. The Delete my account button removes your account, upload history and connected channels from our database. Videos already on YouTube stay there, and you manage them in YouTube.
Your rights and contact
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your data. To make a request, use our contact page.
Changes
